Here are some photos from our inaugural event which took place on April 30th.
As you will see, we had a fantastic turnout for our first effort. Lots of interesting cars and interesting owners!
We would also like to especially thank Bob from Rizza Porsche for bringing the bright orange Boxster S.
The weather was shaky, but we had another good turnout. Nearly every participant was new to the event, creating tremendous diversity.
The last (but certainly not least) car to show was Ferrari's new 458 Italia. We are grateful since the owner drove down from the NW suburbs.
We would like to thank Keith from Continental Autosports for bringing the beautiful Ferrari California.
For our 3rd event, we finally had a perfectly beautiful morning! Both the number and diversity of automobiles impressed, as did the level of owner enthusiasm.
Particularly unique to this event was an electric car. We are grateful that "Sam from Flossmoor" felt compelled to show his Tesla Roadster.
We would like to thank both Todd and Justin from Fox Valley Motorcars for bringing the Evora and Exige!
Another absolutely perfect morning for the July event. However, with the hot, sticky weather we opted for iced coffee and tea.
We would like to thank the Tesla Motors team for showing up and generating a tremendous amount of interest from participants. Bob from Rizza Porsche is like family, and it's always great to see him at the event.
Finally, we are grateful for the photographs that Matthew Medlen took throughout the event. In fact, all of the photos in the Gallery are his.
The weather continues to cooperate for our events! The beautiful morning brought out a very diverse group of cars.
In particular, we are grateful that Candyce brought her late husband's all original 1973 Porsche 911s. This car recently won its class in the 2011 Porsche Parade concours, held in Savannah, Georgia. It's a fantastic car with an equally amazing story, and was definitely the highlight of the event.
